A Story where the crew flies to Hawaii, fun is had

Memories Memories Memories

Hey there! So we took a trip, on a jet plane, without a screaming baby in our laps.  Glorious
Big family reunion in Kauai and it was perfect.  The last time we were here was before my mother passed away as a big group.  the weather was amazing, the company was amazing.  We had a great time with all the cousins.

One particularly funny memory:
My sister Hannah planned a wonderful adventure on a huge catamaran to go out and dive and swim in the Pacific off the western coast of the island.  The captain was a wonderfully gregarious local who was all smiles but I could tell he was a bit worried about the weather.  The wind was really coming in strong from the NE and he warned us that the water could be a bit choppy on the voyage.  Well, we came prepared.... everyone including little people, had small scope patches behind the ear, the secret weapon against seasickness.  Well, the day started well, early morning out onto the ocean, beautiful views, waterfalls, mountains, and then he decided to go for it.  We spent several hours crossing the open ocean to a reef and proceeded to watch every single person on that boat lose their breakfast LOL.  Except for the Beus clan baby.  In fact, during the lunch time the deck hands, who were amazing btw as they waltzed around the rocking boat while waves launches us airborne, prepared sandwiches and treats for everyone on board.  At one point one of my boys came down below deck and asked loudly if there was any mayonaise left, to which a large group people wretched into their barf bags.  My favorite was the adorable couple on their honeymoon who started the trip posing for the 'gram and all smiles and looking fit.  At the end of the day we helped cart their bodies off the boat, I shouldn't laugh but I guess you had to be there.  Anyways, we had a lovely lovely trip.
The boys also had fun snorkeling at every beach possible, we hiked and ate (Puka dogs for the win!!)
Thanks to all who made it possible - thats you dad for coordinating and orchestrating.
